The homers have some good news on the wayThere was a combination of factors that led the homers to a great night. First of all the pitching was great and world class in most of its aspects. There defense was impeccable when it matter and then there was the question of Bronson that is just a credit to the MLB baseball game. There were three homers for the Cincinnati side and John Ely did the seven innings that helped with the victory. The final result was seven points to the one point in reply against the Los Angeles Dodgers. This was a disappointing day for the home crowd that saw their team go down with barely a whimper in the stakes. Full credit goes to the victors for taking their chances seriously enough to exploit the weaknesses in the game of their opponents. Ely made the first RBI run of his career and it has broken the duck. Hopefully this is a sign of the things to come and he will soon turn out to be one of the most formidable players on the MLB baseball circuit. The Dodgers were not be completely outdone in the contest and they managed to put forward a lone point that was just about salvaging some pride from a pretty comprehensive defeat at the hands of their erstwhile opponents. SS Rafael Furcal was not available for the Dodgers because he was recovering from a recent bereavement. He will return later in the season and his impact should help them to win more games. The quality of match play is subject to opinion but some people felt that the score did not do full justice to the efforts that the Dodgers made. However MLB baseball is not about how well you play but the final score that you can produce and on this occasion the Dodgers were woefully short in that aspect. They will have to recoup and make new efforts to develop their game in the big matches and also improve their ability to convert on difficult or pressure points where the opponents might crumble.
